ABOUT ISLU

Hello ISLU friend, I'll tell you a little about myself... My name is Vanessa Sogamoso, I am 31 years old, born in Villavicencio, Colombia, I am currently living in New Jersey, U.S.A. I am HSEQ by profession, wife and mother of two dog children Lucas and Chilindrina, and also the creator along with my sister of ISLU ACCESSORIES.

Maybe you are wondering why ISLU, I tell you that they are the two initials of the names of my parents Isabel and Luis, so ISLU was created with a great sense of love and gratitude for them. ISLU is a project that started in Colombia in 2020 when the COVID pandemic arrived, where two sisters decided to undertake it, we worked hard for two years while I was living in Colombia, but in 2022 we decided together with my husband to look for new opportunities and We emigrated to the United States, because God put everything on the path for us to reach this country.

I have always had an entrepreneurial heart, because I like it, I am passionate about it and I dream of having a business that what I sow will bear fruit for me and my entire family, so in September 2023 I decided to create and write a new story for ISLU but now in another country, that is why at this moment I am dedicating my full time and giving EVERYTHING to this project. It has been months of work, with falls and frustrations but with the conviction to continue trying day by day, always with the hand of God, my goal is for ISLU to be a recognized brand and, most importantly, to make your experience when wearing our jewelry the best. best investment in you.
